Jo Derrick is an award-winning writer as well as an experienced editor, publisher and competition judge. Her magazine Quality Women’s Fiction ran for 12 years and featured some of the best names in short fiction. Jo then published the magazine The Yellow Room two years later which was as equally successful. Jo's short stories feature regularly in publications such as The Woman’s Weekly Fiction Special and The Weekly News. Her story, A Little Luck, recently won 3rd prize in The Bedford International Short Story Competition judged by crime writer, Leigh Russell and appears in their latest anthology. Jo was recently on the reading panel for The Bath Short Story Award and is currently writing a psychological crime thriller.
