                        Alan Mahar

                        Picture

                        Alan Mahar is Publishing Director of Tindal Street Press. Their impressive successes include, among others, author Clare Morrall, shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize; Catherine O’Flynn, winner of the Costa First Novel Award, Galaxy British Book Awards Newcomer of the Year 2008, shortlisted for the Guardian First Novel Prize; Raphael Selbourne, winner of the Costa First Novel Award; and Austin Clarke, winner of the Commonwealth Writers' Prize.

                        Pauline Morgan

                        Pauline Morgan has been on the panel of judges for the critically acclaimed international Arthur C. Clarke Award. She is an experienced reviewer of fiction, appearing regularly in the on-line reviews magazine, SFCrowsnest. 

                        She is the author of a number of short stories and poems (under the name Pauline E. Dungate) that have appeared in anthologies and magazines in Britain and America.

                        She runs and participates in writing workshops covering all kinds of creative writing.



                        Simon Cheshire

                        Simon Cheshire is the author of a number of children's bestsellers, including the Saxby Smart detective stories for 8-12 year-olds and the recently re-released comedy adventure Bottomby. He also writes for the 12+ age group. These include The Prince and the Snowgirl, which was nominated for the Lancashire Book of the Year, and Plastic Fantastic which was shortlisted for the Lanarkshire Book Award. Before becoming a full-time writer ten years ago, he worked in the marketing departments of various booksellers, and has also presented his own series of radio documentaries on literary history. He lives in Warwick but spends most of his time in a world of his own.

                        Jeff Phelps

                        Award winning poet and author Jeff Phelps has been widely published, notably by London Magazine and Critical Quarterly.

                        He has won several poetry awards including the critically acclaimed Stand prize.
